Our business
Sydney Timber Supply is a trading name of AUSCRAFT FURNITURE PTY LTD, ABN 74 670 373 556. These terms apply to Sydney Timber Supply orders accepted from 2 October 2026. Existing accepted orders retain the terms and any additional promises applicable when they were accepted.

Scope and consumer rights
These terms apply to orders accepted by Sydney Timber Supply through this website or an agreed quote. They should be read with the product description, accepted quote, delivery arrangements and Returns & Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. An express order-specific promise remains part of that order.

Product specifications and quantities
Check the species, grade, dimensions, quantity and unit of sale shown for the product before ordering. Where a product is described as random lengths, specific board lengths are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing before the order is accepted. Timber calculators provide estimates using their displayed assumptions; square metres are a planning measure, not the unit of sale for timber sold by linear metre. Allow for the needs of your project and seek professional advice where appropriate. These statements do not override an express product description or purpose we have agreed the product is suitable for.

Timber appearance and suitability
Timber is a natural material and appearance can vary between boards. Images are illustrative unless expressly identified as the actual goods. Products must still match their description and any applicable sample, and meet the consumer guarantees. Follow applicable installation, storage and care instructions. Do not rely on a product name alone to determine structural, fire, treatment or installation suitability; ask us for available product information and obtain qualified advice for your project where needed.

Representative images
Some product images are AI-generated representative illustrations. Where an image is AI-generated, its image description says so. These images show the general type of product only; they are not photographs of the goods supplied and do not show their exact size, colour, grain or finish.

Pricing, availability and order changes
The price, GST treatment, unit of sale and any delivery charge applicable to your order will be shown at checkout or in the agreed quote. Availability and delivery arrangements will be confirmed for your order; an estimate is not a promise of a specific supply date. We will contact you if an error, stock issue or proposed substitution affects your order. We will not substitute a different product or increase an accepted price without your agreement. If we cannot supply and no alternative is agreed, amounts paid for the unsupplied goods will be refunded, without limiting any other legal remedy.

Units of sale and quantities
Timber sold by the linear metre (LM) is ordered in whole linear metres; the quantity you enter is the number of linear metres. Our timber calculator rounds its result up to the next whole linear metre, or up to the next whole board for products sold by the board. The price per linear metre and the unit of sale are shown on each product page. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Loose-length and full-pack pricing
Where a product page states that its price is for loose-length purchases, full-pack purchases may qualify for a lower price per linear metre. Pack and bulk prices are provided by quote and apply only when we confirm them in writing for your order. No pack or bulk discount is applied automatically at the online checkout.

Pack-opening fee
The pack-opening fee applies only to products that show a pack-opening fee notice on their product page. That notice states the product's full-pack quantity. An order for less than that quantity of that product incurs a pack-opening fee of $110 including GST. The fee applies once per eligible product. It is not charged per metre or per cart line, and splitting one product across several cart lines does not create another fee. Each separate eligible product in the same order attracts its own fee; for example, two eligible products both ordered below their full-pack quantities attract $220 including GST in total. At the date of these terms, the products that carry this fee are: 140 x 42 Solid Merbau decking, full pack 185 LM; 190 x 19 Solid Merbau decking, full pack 279 LM; 135 x 19 Pre-oiled Spotted Gum decking, full pack 342 LM. No other product attracts this fee, including all pine framing, even where pack or bulk pricing is available by quote.

Confirming the pack-opening fee
The pack-opening fee is not included in the online checkout total. Before we process an order that attracts the fee, we will contact you to confirm the applicable fee and ask for your approval. We will not charge the fee, or add it to your order, without your approval. If you do not approve the fee, you may cancel the affected order before it is processed and any amount you have paid for it will be refunded in full to your original payment method, or another method agreed with you. Alternatively, you may ask to increase the quantity of the product to its full-pack quantity, in which case no pack-opening fee applies. This section applies only to the pack-opening fee; it does not change how Pre-order products or any other part of your order are handled.

Pre-order products
Products marked Pre-order are available to order but may not be held in stock when you order. After you order, we will contact you to confirm availability and an estimated supply or collection date. An estimate is not a promise of a specific date. If we cannot supply and no alternative is agreed, amounts paid for the unsupplied goods will be refunded. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other legal remedy.

Delivery and collection
Delivery charges and any access or unloading requirements must be confirmed for your order. Tell us about relevant site restrictions before delivery is arranged. Collection is by prior arrangement only; this website does not promise unrestricted walk-in access or fixed collection hours. Any proposed additional delivery charge must be disclosed and agreed rather than imposed after the event. Delivery estimates and arrangements do not remove remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellations and returns
Contact us promptly if you want to change or cancel an order. We will confirm what can be done before any change is agreed; do not assume an order has been cancelled until we confirm it. No automatic cancellation penalty or restocking percentage is imposed by these terms. Eligible standard-stock voluntary returns must be requested within one calendar day after delivery and meet the conditions in our Returns & Refunds policy. Custom, cut, processed and special-order goods are excluded from voluntary returns. This does not limit cancellation, refund or other remedies required by law, or any express additional promise made for your order.
