90x35 mm Untreated Pine is a standard structural framing stick for internal, protected-from-the-weather building work: stud walls, internal partitions, blocking and general carpentry where the timber will not be exposed to the elements. It is the lighter-duty companion to the 90x45 mm size, used where load requirements are lower or where 35 mm depth suits the wall build-up.

Untreated pine has a short service life if exposed to the weather or ground, so it is supplied strictly for dry, protected internal framing rather than any exposed or ground-contact use. Current market supply at this size is predominantly graded MGP10, the standard structural stress grade for house framing.

Sold in set board lengths with the price per length shown in the buy box. Pack and bulk quantities are quoted against current supplier availability.

Timber calculator

Calculating for: 90x35 Untreated Pine Framing

Calculator mode
Area to linear metres

Enter your measurements and select Calculate to see an estimate.

How this is calculated

Cover width (m) = (board width + gap) ÷ 1000

Linear metres required = area ÷ cover width

Linear metres with wastage = linear metres × (1 + wastage ÷ 100)

Boards required = round up (linear metres with wastage ÷ board length)

Total linear metres supplied = boards required × board length

Reverse: estimated coverage area = linear metres × cover width

Estimates only. Confirm final quantities against your measured plans and the product's actual cover width before ordering.
